  • Intitial impression - Authors credentials, who funded the review, which journal it was publishesd( high impact)
  • look at abstract
  • Studay validity - look for new information, look for type of qs answered eg effective treatment, fequesncy of events
  • Is the study design effective for qs asked- rct are good examples of this
look at Kaplan Meier curve
